Webhost failed to process a request error message (Event ID: 3)

Try following instructions to solve “Webhost failed to process a request error message”.

1. Go to the server that contains this error message.
2. Open IIS (Internet Information Services) Manager
3. In the Connections panel, navigate to Application Pools
4. Select the each Application Pool and click “Advanced Settings” from the action panel.
5. Scroll to ProcessModel section, verify the Identity, and update Identity with SharePoint Farm Account if it is Local account.
6. Click Ok and Recycle the application pool.
7. Schedule Recycling if it is not scheduled.
